Posture: Sit in a comfortable meditative position, such as cross-legged, with your spine straight. Close your eyes.
Mudra (hand position): Bring your palms together in front of your chest at sternum level, pointing your fingers away from your body at a 45 degree angle. The elbows should be relaxed.
Breathing: Inhale and exhale through your nose throughout the meditation.
Now, use your imagination: imagine that you are expanding your consciousness beyond the limits of your own body, beyond time, beyond space, and beyond the limits of the mind - to infinity. End the meditation by consciously inhaling and exhaling slowly and deeply, completing several rounds. Relax.
Duration: Start with 11 minutes and gradually extend the meditation.
